Last night, the Baltimore Orioles’ 5-3 victory prevented the Boston Rex Sox from clinching a postseason berth. With that being said, we need some positive vibes here in Boston and Jacoby Ellsbury is right on time. Ellsbury has been available to the media the first time since September 5 after he sustained his fractured foot. (more)

Before August 24, any victory against the Boston Red Sox seemed entirely possible. Since then, however, the Sox have earned winnings against the New York Yankees, Tampa Rays, and Toronto Blue Jays. Starting tonight, September 17, the Sox will enter a three-game series facing the Baltimore Orioles.
