Before last night, the Boston Red Sox had won nine straight World Series game. And it seemed very likely they would sweep the St. Louis Cardinals in this year’s Fall Classic. The duck boats might be further way than we expected.  (more)

Red Sox vs. Rays in American League Division tomorrow

While the Boston Red Sox have been resting after their 97 wins, the Tampa Bay Rays have embarked on something close to a North American Tour. The Rays went from New York to Toronto to Texas to finally, Cleveland where they garnered a 4-0 win against the Cleveland Indians. Saving sleep for after the American League Division, the Rays will face the Sox for the best-of-five division series beginning this Friday at Fenway Park. (more)
