Celtics vs. Wizards, Last Game of the Year

Posted by bramantev on April 16th, 2014

Since the Celtics will not be playing in the postseason since the 2006-07 season, their game against the Washington Wizards tonight will be the icing on the cake for a far less than perfect season. The Wizards are still fighting for a better seed in the Eastern Conference going into the playoffs, and there’s a lot on the table for them tonight. Will the Celtics go out with a bang? Or will the Wizards try to move up the ladder and crush the C’s dreams of a home win to end their season?  (more)

Even though the Celtics will not be continuing into the postseason playoffs since the 2006-07 season, their past two game victories prove that they still have something to play for. Celtics-Hawks Preview

Posted by bramantev on April 9th, 2014

Both teams have different goals for tonight’s game. The Boston Celtics have lost eight straight games and twelve straight road games at the stretch end of their dismal season. The last time they won on the road was against the Bucks on February 10. Whereas the Hawks are trying to bounce back from a disappointing loss last night to Detroit to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.  (more)

Celtics vs Heat Tonight!

Posted by bramantev on March 19th, 2014

Although their records are almost complete opposites, the Boston Celtics make it a game whenever they face the Miami Heat. The two teams have split victories this season both in Miami. On November 9, Jeff Green hit a memorable buzzer beater three to top the Heat 111-110, and on January 21 Lebron James scored 29 in the victory at home (93-86). Tonight in Boston it’ll be a matter of who brings their A game and who wants it more.  (more)

Last night in New Orleans, the Boston Celtics were unable to bring home a win. Sunday night’s game was relatively close the entire game, which eventually led to an overtime loss for the C’s. The one point deficit (121-120) resulted in many positives and negatives for both teams. Let’s take a look at the breakdown of last night’s match up. (more)

Celtics Lose by 5 to the Pacers, 102-97

Posted by bramantev on March 2nd, 2014

Saturday night’s defeat for the Celtics was just shy of a win in Boston. Although the Celtics had the lead at certain points in the game, they were unable to attain it down the stretch, which seems to be a common theme for them this season. The Indiana Pacers going into this game had won four out of their last five games, while the Celtics have done the complete opposite with losing four out of their last five games.  (more)
