Sports - The Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers will face each other tonight at the TD Garden. And while former Boston goaltender, Tim Thomas was expected to make his debut return as an opponent, he will not be playing tonight. (more)

Concerts - Billy Joel does not live off his rich parents, constantly sport flannel shirts, and aspire to be Bansky or some other artist that you’ve never heard of. (But he does hate pop music now.) So maybe he won’t fit in Brooklyn. Nevertheless, that won’t stop Joel from  ringing in the New Year there at Barclays Center. (more)

Bruins face the Stars tonight: Seguin plays against former team as Eriksson recovers

Sports - If you are a thirteen to thirty-year old girl, you might remember former Boston Bruin, center/swooner and youngster, Tyler Seguin. And I’m pretty sure for some of you, it’s the whole reason you started watching the Bruins in the first place. Of course, Seguin is now a Dallas Star, but we’re all in luck—The Bruins are playing the Stars tonight at the TD Garden. (more)

Celtics lose fourth consecutive game to Grizzlies

Sports - Some of us are still hurting from that hangover the World Series’ parade caused. Looking at the Celtics’ current season, we won’t have to worry about that type of doing that type of partying for them. Monday night, the Memphis Grizzlies beat Boston 95-88 and the Celtics experienced their fourth consecutive loss of the season. (more)

Celtics lose to Raptors in opening game

Sports - Last night, there was a certain television viewing order. Obviously, it went: The Boston Red Sox, then the Boston Bruins, and finally the Boston Celtics. (Unless you were me, in which case, the History Channel and Breaking Amish would have come before the Celtics.) While the Celtics put up a good fight, they ultimately lost to the Toronto Raptors with the final score 93-87. (more)
