Over the past week there have been multiple sources reporting that the early 90’s boy band, New Kids on The Block will be reuniting for one final tour. People Magazine came out with the initial reports, and a source told People that the group will be making the official announcement sometime over the next two weeks.
The boy band, made up of Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood, and Jonathan Knight were a phenomenon worldwide in the early 1990’s. The group sold more than 50 million albums around the world before calling it quits in 1994.
Group members have declined to comment about whether or not the group is in fact reuniting, but the group’s official website, www.nkotb.com, is up and running again after a long hiatus.
On Friday, April 4, 2008 the New Kids will be appearing on the Today show. This could be the big announcement NKOTB fans have been waiting for.
