Celtics Lose by 5 to the Pacers, 102-97

Saturday night’s defeat for the Celtics was just shy of a win in Boston. Although the Celtics had the lead at certain points in the game, they were unable to attain it down the stretch, which seems to be a common theme for them this season. The Indiana Pacers going into this game had won four out of their last five games, while the Celtics have done the complete opposite with losing four out of their last five games.  (more)

Sochi Olympic Games at a Close

After 17 action packed days of competition, the 2014 Olympic Games are over in Sochi. The home country, Russia, won the medal race with a total of 33 medal and 13 gold, which was a huge improvement since the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. For Team USA, there were only 9 gold medals received with a team total of 28 medals. Norway, Canada, and the Netherlands also made the top five in the medal count standings. Four Game Road Trip Starts in Phoenix for the Celtics

Back from the NBA All-Star break, the Boston Celtics will travel to Arizona tonight to face the Phoenix Suns. The Suns currently hold the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference. The Celtics have a four game spread on the West coast and hope to clench some W’s because they are currently 4-18 with Western Conference match ups.  (more)
