Jacoby Ellsbury signs with New York Yankees

Former Boston Red Sox center-fielder, Jacoby Ellsbury was limited to eighteen games in 2010 after he cracked his ribs. In 2012, he suffered a shoulder injury and was placed on the disabled injury reserve list. More recently, he was plagued with a foot injury that forced him to sit out a few games. (more)

If you think the Boston Celtics’ six-game losing streak is bad, try playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks were experiencing an eleven game losing streak—the longest streak in the last sixteen years of franchise history. Last Saturday at Bradley Center, however, Milwaukee defeated the Celtics 95-82. (more)

The Celtics beat Bobcats the second time around

The Boston Celtics have performed inconsistently this season to say the least. After finding themselves in a six-game losing streak, they managed a winning game against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. And more recently, they defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 96-86 on Monday night. (more)

Torey Krug scores in overtime and Bruins snap out of losing streak to Penguins

On Monday night, the Boston Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 at TD Garden. After three regular periods between the two top Eastern Conference teams, Torey Krug scored the game winning goal 34 seconds into overtime. (more)

Bruins come close to the Blues but fall short in overtime
