Seidenberg Helps Push B’s Past Senators, 2-1

Thanks to Dennis Seidenberg’s first goal of the season with just over a minute left in regulation the Bruins beat the Senators in a tight contest in Ottawa. The first period saw supreme goaltending by Anton Khudobin who had nine saves in the first.   (more)

I’m a basketball fan, but outside of the weekly college games on ESPN and keeping up with my Kentucky Wildcats (shut up.) I don’t watch too much college basketball.  This is probably why when I was handed my annual NCAA March Madness bracket in exchange for five dollars the other day I immediately started filling it out by “just going with my gut”. This was probably a poor decision. (more)

David Ortiz’ Injury Likely to Keep Him Out of Opening Day Lineup

After shutting it down for the season last August, Boston slugger David Ortiz has encountered yet another setback to getting back into the Red Sox lineup. Ortiz was diagnosed with inflammation in both heals on March 9th and was told by team doctors to sit out of team activities for at least a week. (more)
