Sacramento, CA rockers the Deftones have scheduled a number of Euopean festival dates for the Summer, including appearances at Reading and Leeds. The band’s hiatus was recently extended due to the absence of bassist Chi Cheng, who is still in a coma since being involved in a car accident in November of 2008. The band is prepping a new album entitled “Eros”, due to drop in October. They have enlisted the help of Sergio Vega of Quicksand to fill in for Cheng, and are working with longtime production partner Terry Date.
