Frontman Damon Albarn and guitarist Graham Coxon have put aside their differences and reunite Britpop band Blur for a gig in London’s Hyde Park. The show will feature the band’s fulle lineup (including bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree) and will be followed by other festival appearances.
“It just felt it was right again,” Albarn told NME in an exclusive interview “It somehow feels like there’s something for us to do again, we’re not completely useless or pointless, we’ve got a reason to exist.”
A possible Glastonbury appearance has been mentioned, and a full world tour has been hinted at - but there are no formal plans announced beyond the July3rd headlining show at Hyde Park in London.
