The popular Columbian musician, Juanes, has recently announced his upcoming North American 2013 Loud and Unplugged Tour. Five official tour dates and venues have been released so far, but more are expected to come in the near future.
Currently, Juanes is expected to kick off the tour on May 26 in San Diego, California and wrap up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 21. Juanes’ public relations representatives claim, however, that additional dates should be “announced shortly for expected performances in Atlanta, Bakersfield, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, McAllen, New York, Sacramento, San Jose and Washington.”
Billboard explains, “The Loud and Unplugged concerts will echo the intimate yet celebratory tone of the record, on which Juanes is joined by his Latin roots rock band, and guests including tropical music star Juan Luis Guerrar, who produced the album, and legendary Spanish balladeer Joaquin Sabina.”
As of now, Juanes is still performing prior to the tour. On November 24 he will be performing a benefit show in Brooklyn, New York where all proceeds will be donated directly to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief. He will also tour through his native Colombia at the end of the year.
