The Boston Celtics certainly missed Kevin Garnett’s defense last night against the New York Knicks.  Garnett missed the game due to a one game suspension for an altercation in a game this past weekend.  The Celtics gave up a rare 101 points but were able to outlast the Knicks for a 110-101 victory.  Crowd favorite Brian Scalabrine got a start in place of Garnett and wound up hitting a clutch 3 pointer late in the game.

Paul Pierce led the way for Boston last night with 22 points and 8 rebounds as Boston earned its 10th win of the year.  Kendrick Perkins stepped up with 16 points while Rondo and Allen added 15 points each.  The win was the 7th in a row for the Celtics against the Knicks.

The Celtics will host Allen Iverson and the Detroit Pistons on 11/20 at the TD Banknorth Garden.  Celtics tickets are still available for this game.
