While Indianapolis’ four-game winning streak is impressive, it also came against the Jaguars, Dolphins, Titans and Browns. New England is practically unbeatable and home and is looking to go 7-3 this Sunday against the Colts.
The match up will help test the Colts to see how their young team can handle an elite opponent on the road. No longer will the fight be between Manning and Brady, we now get to see the start of rookie quarter back Andrew Luck versus the Patriot’s Tom Brady. Luck and the Colts have just enough power on the offense to make things interesting this week. The rookie is able to keep his eyes up field, makes plays when opponents are hanging off of him, and has the ability to keep everyone guessing on what he’ll do next. On the road he has two touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 66.2 passer rating.
The injury-plagued Colts and are depending on their three extra days of rest to help them after six of their starters sat out in Week 10. Their offensive line will still be a tough force for the Patriots to beat, however. Both teams have identical records and major playoff implications.
