Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers continued to their sharp play against the New Jersey Devils last night. The Rangers came away with a 5-2 win and Henrik kept his streak of 18 games of 2 or fewer goals against the Devils intact.  Kevin Weekes, filling in for an injured Martin Brodeur, couldn’t keep the flood gates closed in the second period against New York. The Rangers scored four times in the second and twice on the power play.

The Devils took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Travis Zajac and outshot the Rangers 13-5. The second period was drastically different. The Rangers peppered Weekes with 20 shots in the second, getting goals from Rozsival, Drury, Korpikoski and Zherdev.

The Rangers will play their next three at home against the Bruins on 11/15, the Senators on 11/17 and the Canucks on 11/19.  New York Rangers tickets are available for all remaining 2008-2009 games.
