The now 7-0 New Orleans Saints had four turnovers but still managed to post 35 points to the Atlanta Falcons 27 Monday night at the Superdome. Quarterback Drew Brees was responsible for two out the four, but made up for it with two passing touchdowns and 308 yards from 25 completions.

The Falcons couldn’t capitalize due to the fact that Matt Ryan tossed away three INT’s himself. “It’s a disappointing loss but it’s a long season,” Ryan said. “There’s a lot that can between now and Week 17. We’ve just got to take care of our business.” In addition to his few costly mistakes Ryan finished out the night with 289 yards and a touchdown. Atlanta was in control until the second quarter when the Saints really took over with 21 more points.

New Orleans has a light schedule ahead for the next few weeks with match up at home against the Carolina Panthers, followed by away games at St Louis and Tampa Bay. The Falcons are set to play the 2-5 Washington Redskins next Sunday in Atlanta.
