Former “The Who” lead singer Roger Daltrey will be playing at the House of Blues in Boston this Sunday, November 8th at 7:00 PM. The show will follow his performance at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT. The 65 year old rocker still has the talent to tour around numerous major U.S. cities. He still has plans to hit up venues in Atlantic City, Norfolk, New York, Charlotte, Hollywood, and Seattle.
Daltrey has produced a total of 12 studio albums as a solo artist. His last record “Moonlighting” was released in February of 2005. As a one man show his most recognizable singles are “Giving It All Away,” “I’m Free,” “Without Your Love,” “Free Me,” and “After the Fire.”
Aside from his role in one of the greatest rock bands of all time and his established solo career, Daltrey over the years has also found great success in television and film. From 1975 to 2006 he appeared in over 30 films. He is no stranger to center stage, taking involvement in theatre in the past as Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol,” the Tin Man in “The Wizard of Oz in Concert: Dreams Come True,” and Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Don’t miss out on Roger Daltrey at the House of Blues.
