American rocker Rob Thomas is set to perform at the Citi Performing Arts Center-Wang Theater in Boston, MA on Monday, November 9th. Soon after he’ll be arriving at the Beacon Theatre in New York City for three nights starting November 12th. Since releasing his sophomore album “Cradlesong” in June, Thomas has been touring all around major U.S. cities for the majority of 2009. The last stop on the tour will be at the Turning Stone Casino Event Center in Verona, NY on Tuesday, December 8th.
Thomas will be featuring his new songs along with some of his old material while on tour. The former Matchbox Twenty front man’s most successful hit was in 1999 when he produced the hit single “Smooth” with Carlos Santana. Widely recognizable Matchbox 20 singles include “Push,” “3 A.M.,” “Real World,” “Bent,” and “If You’re Gone.” In 2004 Thomas received the first Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, signifying his major influence on people as a young talented musician.
