Longtime rock band Bon Jovi has announced dates for their 2010-2011 “Circle the World Tour.” Before heading overseas the group will be hitting numerous major U.S. venues from February to July.
The New Meadowlands Stadium will welcome them to East Rutherford, NJ for two shows on May 26th and 27th. Soon after they’ll be expected to rock out at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA on July 24th. Before kicking off their 2010 tour, sources have rumored Bon Jovi to headline the Super Bowl XLIV half time show in Miami, FL on February 7th.
The group planning to take part in the upcoming tour with Jon Bon Jovi are band members Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Tico Torres and Hugh McDonald. Since 1983 Bon Jovi has released a total of ten studio albums and sold more than 120 million albums internationally.
Q magazine ranked them #14 on their list of ‘50 Greatest Bands of All Time.’ Jovi and Sambora were inducted into the ‘Songwriters Hall of Fame’ in 2009. Their most recognizable singles include “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Bad Medicine,” “I’ll Be There for You” and “Always.”
