New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo suited up for practice Friday for the first time since suffering a sprained MCL in his left knee two weeks ago at their Week 4 contest in Oakland. Mayo was previously estimated to miss four to six weeks. He will likely miss out on this Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Team trainers believe he’ll be ready for game action in time for their October 30th game in Pittsburgh following their Week 7 bye.
RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis was limited in practice with a toe injury but should be ready to take the field on Sunday. Vince Wilfork was among the other three players to miss practice for non-injury-related reasons. “Just had to handle some personal business,” confirmed Wilfork. “Everything is good. I’m ready to play Sunday.” Purchase your Patriots vs. Cowboys tickets with us at AceTicket.com!
