Owl City (Adam Young) has just recently announced his plans to further tour the United States in 2010. He is now in the midst of his fall tour, playing for sold-out audiences across the nation. The winter tour will kick off on January 21st at the Beaumont Club in Kansas City and will end at the Revolution Music Room in Little Rock on February 10th.
Young started making music in his parents basement because of his troubles with insomnia. Him and music partners Andrew Farley, Caleb Best and Breanne Duren complete the name on stage. His influences came from disco and European type electronic music. The Owl City 2009 hit single “Fireflies” reached the #11 spot on the US Hot 100 charts. Young will be performing at the Troubadour in Hollywood next Tuesday, October 20th at 6:00 PM.
