10/12/08
Atlanta Falcons (4-2) 22 Chicago Bears (3-3) 20 – Matt Ryan had a great passing day with 301 yards and 1 touchdown in leading the Hawks past the Bears.
Minnesota Vikings (3-3) 12 Detroit Lions (0-5) 10 – The Lions can’t seem to get anything going as they remain winless after today’s loss to the Vikings.
New Orleans Saints (3-3) 34 Oakland Raiders (1-4) 3 – The Saints were too much for the Raiders defense. The offense wasn’t much better.
Tampa Bay Bucs (4-2) 27 Carolina Panthers (4-2) 3 – Despite 242 passing yards, Delhomme couldn’t get the ball in the endzone, allowing Garcia and the Bucs to steal this one.
Indianapolis Colts (3-2) 31 Baltimore Ravens (2-3) 3 - Manning righted the ship today with 3 touchdown passes as the Colts easily handled the Ravens.
Dallas Cowboys (4-2) 30 Arizona Cardinals (4-2) 24 – Romo had 3 touchdown passes but his effort wasn’t enough to overcome the Cardinals in OT.
Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) 24 Denver Broncos (4-2) 17 – Garrard threw for 276 yards in a victory over the Broncos today.
New York Jets (3-2) 26 Cincinnati Bengals (0-6) 14 – Brett Favre’s decent effort was enough to beat the hapless Bengals who now stand winless at 0-6.
St. Louis Rams (1-4) 19 Washington Redskins (4-2) 17 – Losing to the Rams was not what the Redskins needed to do to assert their presence in the NFC East.
Houston Texans (1-4) 29 Miami Dolphins (2-3) 28 – Schaub had a great day with 379 passing yards leading the Texans over the Dolphins.
Philadelphia Eagles (3-3) 40 San Francisco 49ers (2-4) 26 – McNabb was determined to bounce back from an “embarrassing” performance and threw 2 TD’s in this win over the 49ers.
Green Bay Packers (3-3) 27 Seattle Seahawks (1-4) 17 – The Seahawks continue to sink. They couldn’t hold off the Packers on Sunday.
San Diego Chargers (3-3) 30 New England Patriots (3-2) 10 – Apparently Tom Brady is that good. Without him the Patriots continue to struggle in the red zone.
Monday Night Football 10/13/08
New York Giants (4-1) 14 Cleveland Browns (2-3) 35 – The Giants were not the dominant team they were in their first 4 games of the year. The defending Super Bowl champs looked lost on offense and defense and couldn’t handle a resurgent Browns team.
