The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is teaming up with Hallmark Channel to present the live debut of the band’s multi-platinum rock opera, “The Lost Christmas Eve.” Beginning November 15, 2012, the orchestra will present over 100 shows in 65 cities throughout North America. They will be hitting Boston’s TD Garden on Sunday, December 23.

“The Lost Christmas Eve” is the third installment in the band’s trilogy of Christmas albums. It has been called an uplifting “story of loss and redemption.” Featuring a diverse soundtrack with elements of rock, folk, R&B, Broadway, and folk, the story follows the inhabitants of a rundown hotel, an old toy star, a Gothic cathedral and a blues bar during a single Christmas Eve night in New York City. Some hit singles include “Wizards in Winter,” “Christmas Nights in Blue” and “Siberian Sleigh Ride.” The show will also include new, recently released songs from their Fall EP, “Dreams of Fireflies” and classics from their debut album, “Christmas Eve and Other Stories.”

According to Pollstar magazine, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has ranked in the Top 10 in both attendance and gross revenues since their debut in 1996. They have sold over 8.5 million albums and have performed in more than 150 cities worldwide.

‘The Lost Christmas Eve’ has always been a personal favorite of mine,” says Trans-Siberian Orchestra founder Paul O’Neill. “This is an exciting year for the band and something we’ve been planning for years… To debut this rock opera live marks a new and exciting chapter in TSO’s Rock Theater evolution.”

Make sure to get your tickets for the December 23rd show at TD Garden here at Ace. One dollar from each ticket sold is donated to a local charity. This Trans-Siberian Orchestra tradition sets an example that Christmas is a time for giving.
