NFL Week 2 Results

We are two weeks into the 2008 NFL season. There has already been much to talk about. See how your favorite team faired below. Don’t forget that Ace Ticket has great NFL tickets for all games including the Super Bowl.


Tennessee Titans (2-0) 24 Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) 7 – The Titans improved to 2-0 with a strong effort by backup QB Kerry Collins. The Bengals struggled on offense.

Green Bay Packers (2-0) 48 Detroit Lions (0-2) 25 - Aaron Rodgers has another great game with 328 passing yards. Brett who? Meanwhile the Lions dropped to 0-2.

Oakland Raiders (1-1) 23 Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) 8 - Despite the win for the Raiders, Coach Kiffin is expected to be fired this week.

New York Giants (2-0) 41 St. Louis Rams (0-2) 13 - The New York Giants had a great day on offense and defense while the Rams struggled to do anything right.

Indianapolis Colts (1-1) 18 Minnesota Vikings (0-2) 15 - Peyton Manning threw for 311 yards as the Colts got their first win of the year.

Washington Redskins (1-1) 29 New Orleans Saints (1-1) 24 - QB Campbell had a great day for the Skins with 321 passing yards in Washington’s victory over the Saints.

Carolina Panthers (2-0) 20 Chicago Bears (1-1) 17 - The Panthers are now 2-0 after beating the Bears with a fourth quarter touchdown.

Buffalo Bills (2-0) 20 Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) 16 - Who thought the Bills would start strong? They are 2-0 after disposing of the Jaguars.

San Francisco 49ers (1-1) 33 Seattle Seahawks (0-2) 30 - The Seahawks didn’t expect to go 0-2 but did just that with their 3 point loss to San Fran.

Tampa Bay Bucs (1-1) 24 Atlanta Falcons (1-1) 9 - The Falcons looked lost in their game against the Bucs this week.

New England Patriots (2-0) 19 New York Jets (1-1) 10 - Matt Cassell held down the fort for the Patriots as they denied Brett Favre and the Jets.

Arizona Cardinals (2-0) 31 Miami Dolphins (0-2) 10 - The Dolphins are off to a bad start once again. When will they get their first win this year?

Denver Broncos (2-0) 39 San Diego Chargers (0-2) 38 - The Broncos won a tight one against the Chargers to improve to 2-0 on the year.

Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) 10 Cleveland Browns (0-2) 6 - Not much offense in this one but the Steelers will take the win.

9/15/08 Monday Night Football

Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) 37 Dallas Cowboys (2-0) 41 - There wasn’t much defense to be had in this game but it made for an exciting shootout. The Cowboys and the Eagles changed leads seven times on Monday night. Tony Romo threw for 312 yards in leading Dallas to victory.
