The New England Patriots are currently working out a deal with Olympic sprinter and former Florida RB Jeff Demps. Competing as part of the 400-meter relay team that finished second, Demps was undrafted in April while he was preparing for the Olympics. He played in 12 games last season at the University of Florida, rushing for 569 yards and six touchdowns.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick said on Wednesday that the he’s looking for better production in their return game, which is certainly an area where Demps could solidify his role.
