Buffalo Bills receiver Terrell Owens missed practice yesterday due to a sprained toe. He reportedly jammed it during a pre-season game against the Tennessee Titans last Sunday, and complained about later that night through his Twitter page. Owens wrote: “My toe is aching!” followed by a concerned face - “:-/” Head coach Dick Jauron said Bills camp was much quieter without their stand-out receiver present. “It was different,” said Jauron. “We know what kind of player he is and what kind of player he’s been his entire career, so when he’s not on the field, you’re aware of the fact.”
Hopefully Owens is able to take a couple of days and re-energize himself with T.O’s Honey Toasted Oats before Saturday’s pre-season game against Chicago. Buffalo’s first regular season game is set for September 14th at Gillette Stadium against the New England Patriots.
Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots tickets for the 2009-2010 regular season are now available!
