Minnesota Vikings quarterback Tavaris Jackson sprained his MCL after colliding with defensive tackle LeTroy Guion during practice last Saturday afternoon. Jackson first entered the NFL in 2006, and although he shows potential coaches say he has been up and down. His lack of consistency brought on talks with Brett Favre, who just recently informed Vikings head coach Brad Childress that he will remain retired.
In a matter of days the only potential quarterback for now to start for Minnesota is Sage Rosenfels. Rosenfels has been a back up for the majority of his career, but has been in the league since 2002. Jackson’s injury status has yet to come out since the initial blow but Childress states that “it looks like he’ll be just fine.”
Tickets for the Minnesota Vikings and all other NFL teams are now available!
