The Boston Red Sox are back in town! Starting off with a three game series against the Detroit Tigers going from July 30-August 1. Then they finish out the week with a four game series against the Minnesota Twins from August 2-5. Coming straight from a three game series against long time rivals the New York Yankees, let’s hope the Sox bring back a couple wins as souvenirs.

Thursday night at the House of Blues, guitar hero and original member of Guns ‘N Roses, Slash! Check out this living legend in the flesh, or is it snake skin?
Friday evening, you’ve got options. College radio rockers O.A.R. head to the Bank of America Pavilion while female singer songwriter Brandi Carlile hits the Cape Cod Melody Tent. Easy listening not your cup of joe? Then head on over to the Comcast Center for the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, featuring an awesome assortment of metal bands such as Slayer, Slipknot, Motorhead, Anthrax and more!
Saturday punk rockers The Bouncing Souls hit up the House of Blues while the California vibe is brought to the Comcast Center with 311 and Slightly Stoopid. And fans can get a second chance to catch Brandi Carlile when she performs with Josh Ritter at the Bank of America Pavilion.
Soccer fans can get another dose of international football with a double header at Gillette Stadium on August 4th featuring AC Milan vs. Olimpia followed by the New England Revolution vs. Sporting KC.
