Liverpool FC and AS Roma will arrive at Fenway Park for their highly anticipated exhibition game this Wednesday. Both Liverpool FC and AS Roma are connected to the Red Sox and Fenway Park. Liverpool was purchased in 2010 by John Henry’s Fenway Sports Group. AS Roma is owned by a group involving Red Sox minority owner Thomas DiBenedetto and Celtics part owner James Pallotta.

Pop superstars Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez will perform at Boston’s TD Garden Wednesday night. Iglesias will be touring in support of his ninth studio album Euphoria. Lopez just wraped up her first season as a judge on Fox’s American Idol and also released a new single alongside Pitbull entitled “Dance Again.” The two will be performing seperately for the most part but will also share the stage for a few songs as well.

Iglesias and Lopez aren’t the only big name artists gracing the stage at TD Garden this week, as the venue will open its doors to Coldplay for two shows July 29th and 30th. The band is currently out touring to further promote their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto. Featuring singles “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” and “Paradise,” the album charted at No. 1 in seventeen countries and became the group’s third album to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200.

Billy Elliot The Musical will begin its run at the Boston Opera House July 24th and will continue on at the venue for several shows until August 19th. The production is based on the 2000 film Billy Elliot and the music is by Elton John. Following its Broadway debut in 2008, the musical won ten Tony Awards and ten Drama Desk Awards. 6. “It opened on Broadway Thursday with enough energy to turn itself to fireworks, and an enormous A-plus cast playing hardscrabble miners, fearsome police, sweet little-girl ballet wannabes, a grandma with a fleeting memory and a steadfast heart.” – Howard Shapiro, Philadelphia Inquirer
