The New York Giants’ new linebacker Michael Boley will serve a 1 game suspension to start the regular season for 2009. Boley was picked up by the Giants this offseason after four years with the Atlanta Falcons. Boley has been charged in a domestic dispute incident with his wife while he was still a member of the Falcons.
The Giants are certainly not thrilled with the incident. Following turbulent times with former Giants’ WR Plaxico Burress, New York would prefer to keep the headlines about their play on the field not their conduct off of it.
