Actor-Comedian Eddie Murphy could be coming to a stand-up stage near you sometime in the not so distant future. Although nothing has been confirmed, Murphy has recently hinted at giving up Hollywood and returning to his roots in comedy. Perhaps a recent string of flops like ‘Pluto Nash’ and ‘Norbit’ have motivated Murphy to move on. Before starting a successful movie career, Murphy hit it big on Saturday Night Live in the early ’80’s. Eddie Murphy also gave us perhaps two of the finest stand-up comedy acts of all time in ‘Delirious’ and ‘Raw’.
If Eddie does indeed return to stand-up, expect high demands for Eddie Murphy tickets. Fans will no doubt be anxious to see if Murphy can still cut it in the world of stand-up comedy.
