On the debut episode of Joe Buck’s “Joe Buck Live” tv show last night, Brett Favre put a timetable on a possible announcement of a potential return to football. Favre confirmed that he has been talking to the Minnesota Vikings; a team for which he thiks he can fill a need. “It makes a lot of sense because the pieces are in place,” Favre told Buck. Despite winning their division last year, the Vikings most need is an upgrade at QB – which Favre may be able to provide. The veteran QB still needs two to three weeks to see if his surgically repaired arm is ready to be evaluated.
Favre declined to participate in Viking OTA’s, as to lessen a”media frenzy”, and to allow more time for his arm to heal. Inside sources still say that Favre is unofficially 100% on board to join the Vikings, and is merely waiting for an OK from Dr. James Andrews.
