Fisher Wills Lakers to Game 3 Win in Boston

Posted by Ace Staff on June 9th, 2010 in Sports

Derek Fisher netted five field goals in the fourth quarter to lift the Los Angeles Lakers past the Boston Celtics 92-84 last night at the TD Garden. After setting an NBA Finals record with eight three-pointers in Game 2, Ray Allen shot 0-for-13 last night during his 42 minutes on the floor. Ray and the rest of the veteran C’s lineup won’t be down for long with Game 4 in sight for Thursday in Boston.

“That’s why you always have to be humble,” said Allen. “When things go great, it’s good to be a part of. You have to be sure to make good decisions. Moving forward, you have to continue to work on things you need to work on to be good in the future. Preparation is the biggest key.” The Celtics can certainly take away some positives despite the recent swing in momentum in favor of LA. Kevin Garnett came alive with 25 points as Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis contributed 12 off the bench. Don’t miss your chance to witness Boston rally back this Thursday and Sunday at the TD Garden. NBA Finals tickets are now available!
