Rodney Harrison, the only player in NFL history to have more than 30 interceptions (34) and sacks (30.5) is calling it a career. During his 15 year career he was one of the most feared defensive backs; making the Pro Bowl twice and winning two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. Harrison’s physical play was as classified by “dirty” by many, but Harrison insists he was just trying to get the job done. “People have called me a dirty player,” Harrison said to ESPN. “I’m a very passionate player. I also understand that this is not volleyball. This is a very violent, physical game, and if you hit someone in the mouth, they’re not going to be your friend.”

Harrison will join Tony Dungy as part of NBC’s NFL broadcast staff.

New England Patriots tickets are available now!
