Magic Revamp, Avoid Sweep in Boston

Posted by Ace Staff on May 25th, 2010 in Sports

Dwight Howard racked up 32 points and 16 rebounds to lift his Orlando Magic past the Boston Celtics 96-92 yesterday at the TD Garden in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The OT victory will prolong the series with Game 5 set for Orlando this Wednesday. The C’s are still confident with their 3-1 lead despite the recent shift in momentum.  “There’s no need to panic. We like the position we’re in,” said Ray Allen following his 22 point performance. “But it’s a lesson: We have to take care of the small things and we’ll get to where we want to be.”

If the Celtics are able to claim victory at the Amway Arena they will have a few days to prepare for their next opponent in the NBA Finals. The Los Angeles Lakers currently lead the Phoenix Suns 2-1 in the West with Game 4 scheduled for tonight at 9:00 PM. The NBA just recently released the possible championship series schedules. Depending on how the Conference matchups play out, the Finals will either begin on Tuesday, June 1st or Thursday, June 3rd. Don’t miss your chance to witness the Boston Celtics continue their journey for Banner #18.
