Posted by Ace Staff on May 18th, 2010 in Sports

The Boston Celtics are preparing to continue their win streak tonight at the Amway Arena following Sunday’s 92-88 win over the Orlando Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The veteran Celtics roster is feeling healthy and motivated after knocking out the top ranked Cleveland Cavaliers before taking Orlando’s previously earned home court advantage.

Kevin Garnett won’t be treating Game 2 any easier in light of their chance to be up 2-0 when the series moves to Boston. “We focused on the things we didn’t do well,” he said. “We anticipate this team coming out full of energy on Tuesday night, so we have to be ready to go.” The TD Garden will host Games 3 and 4 with prices starting at $129. Don’t miss your chance to catch Rondo, the Big 3 and the rest of the C’s as they make another push for banner #18.

The New England Revolution are set for a friendly match with Portugal’s SL Benfica Wednesday, May 19th at Gillette Stadium. Benfica has won a total of 32 Portuguese titles since their inaugural season in 1904. The international power house will feature players in Foxboro that include Luis Filipe, Pablo Aimar, Ruben Amorim, and Julio Cesar. Tickets to this event currently range from $75-$125.

The Boston Red Sox just recently suffered a heartbreaking 11-9 loss yesterday in the Bronx. They’ll face the Yankees once more tonight before making their way back to Fenway to host the Minnesota Twins for two games starting Wednesday. Sox vs. Twins tickets are available for $49.
