If the Bruins knew exactly what they were up against last night, they sure didn’t play like it, as they handled the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 in front of a sold out RBC Arena. Following last nights game this Boston Bruins team became only the second team in their storied history to force a Game 7 after trailing 3 games to 1.The Bruins came out flying with Mark Recchi netting his 50th career playoff goal barely 2 minutes into the game to give them an early lead they never relinquished. Steve Montador, Marc Savard, and Chuck Kobasew added goals and Thomas turned away 31 of the 33 shots he faced to even up the series and force a decisive Game 7 in Boston.

Bruins Game 7 tickets are now available.
