On Thursday, May 13, electronica act Massive Attack will be at the House of Blues. Since 1988, the British music production duo has been bringing their distinctive sound to the forefront of the trip hop genre. They have collaborated with various artists, including Neneh Cherry, Madonna, David Bowie, Mos Def, and more. General admission tickets for the show are currently available for $75. Also on Thursday, country singer Alan Jackson performs at the Verizon Wireless Arena in New Hampshire. Jackson is one of the most popular country singers of his era, having more than 50 singles crack the Top 30 on the Billboard country charts. Jackson has been selected to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year. Floor tickets for the NH show start at $59.

Pearl Jam makes two visits to the New England area this week. They’ll be playing on Saturday, May 15th at the XL Center in Harford and on Monday, May 17th at Boston’s TD Garden. Since their debut album, Ten, was released in the early ‘90s, the band has been a constant presence in mainstream music. Many consider the band to be one of the most influential acts of the 1990s, and they are still churning out hits now. Tickets are available for both shows, starting at $125. The Saw Doctors will also be playing in Boston on Saturday at the House of Blues. The rock band has scored 18 top thirty singles in their home country of Ireland since 1986. They have a devoted cult following in Ireland, the UK, and the US. Mezzanine tickets for Saturday’s show start at $69.

In Providence, you can catch the smash hit musical Jersey Boys at the Providence Performing Arts Center. Based on the lives and careers of The Four Season, the show has won numerous awards, including the Tony Award for Best Musical. Performances are scheduled all this weekend with tickets starting at $79. This is the last week that you can catch The Big Apple Circus at Boston City Hall Plaza. Matinee and evening performances will run from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets start at $75, and ringside seats are available for $95.
