After a grueling 19-day road trip, the Sox are home to play their first game of the year at Fenway. The park got a minor facelift in the offseason; new bleacher seats have been installed, and a new section called the “Coca-Cola” corner replaces some of the old luxury suites built for the 1999 All-Star Game. These changes push Fenway’s capacity to 39,988.
First pitch is at 2:05pm today, preceded by the World Series ring ceremony. Daisuke Matsuzaka will face off against Kenny Rogers.
