Swedish DJ Avicci is coming to Boston’s TD Garden on June 15, 2012. The 22-year old has released a number of singles that have been international hits. Songs include, “Seek Bromance,” “My Feelings For You,” “Fade Into Darkness,” and “Levels.”
Avicii has worked with various artists on songs, like Leona Lewis on “Collide” and David Guetta on “Sunshine,” both in 2011. He is most known for his remixes. Notable songs popular in the U.S. include, Coldplay’s “Every Tear Drop Is Like A Waterfall” and Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild.” He has one album, Avicii presents Strictly Miami, that came out in 2011.
He went on his first world tour in 2010, traveling around North America and Western Europe, like spots in Las Vegas at the Electric Daisy Carnival and France at the Inox Festival. In 2011, he performed at a number of colleges in Canada and the U.S., Brock University, McGill University, University of Indiana, and Washington Avenue Armory to University of Albany students among them. Avicii will also come to two other spots around the area in April, Bridgeport, CT’s Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard April 17 and Amherst, MA’s Mullin’s Center April 19. His show in June is part of a tour he is embarking on that will take him around Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
