Veteran wide-out Terrell Owens is traveling to Cincinnati to discuss a potential future with the Bengals organization. Chad Ochocinco has been pushing for T.O. to sign with the squad since the end of the 2009-2010 regular season. “There’s always been the speculation and perception out there,” said Owens. “Chad kick-started it and lobbied to have me here as a teammate and I welcome it with open arms.”
Owens is coming off his least productive season to date, producing five touchdowns and 829 yards from 55 catches for the Buffalo Bills. In 2008 for the Dallas Cowboys he caught 69 passes for 1,052 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Bengals have yet to publicly address their interest in Owens. They also recently met with former Tampa Bay receiver Antonio Bryant on Tuesday. Check back for more 2010 NFL off-season updates!
