Robinson Sparks C’s Past Pistons

Nate Robinson has already found his rhythm as a member of the Boston Celtics, netting 4-of-5 from long range last night to help his squad battle past the Detroit Pistons 105-100 at The Palace. The former New York Knicks stand-out’s 14 points in 15 minutes played certainly exceeds expectations in regards to his new role.

“This was big for us,” said Ray Allen following his 18 point performance. “Nate was big. He can get to the basket, he can hit the mid-range stuff and he can get the 3-ball. That helps us a lot with the second unit.”

The Celts were desperate for a win after falling to the last place New Jersey Nets last weekend at home. A road win in Detroit might be just what they need to build momentum looking ahead to the last two months of the regular season. The C’s are scheduled to head back to Boston to host the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at 7:30 PM. Boston Celtics tickets are now available!
