The Boston Red Sox made their unofficial Spring debut yesterday beating up on two Boston area College teams. The Sox played Boston College in the first game and won 24-0. In the nightcap the Sox beat Northeastern University 15-0. The Red Sox have made it an annual tradition to play the two Boston college teams to open their Spring season.
The Red Sox will play their Grapefruit League opener today against the Minnesota Twins.
