The Boston Red Sox are tweaking the start times of night games at Fenway for the 2009 season. Evening games will start at 7:10 now, instead of the customary 7:05 times. Red Sox CEO Larry lucchino told the AP that “Moving the starts by even a few minutes will give them a little more time to make it to Fenway Park from work or home, take advantage of pregame festivities and ballpark amenities, and reach their seats before the first pitch.” The change will go into effect starting on April 8th, the second game of the season.
