Eric Clapton just recently announced plans to organize another Crossroads Guitar Festival. This marks the concerts third installment, featuring Clapton with his band and 27 of his favorite guitar driven musicians for a one-day extravaganza. The event is scheduled for June 26th at Toyota Park in Chicago.

Musicians with plans to take the stage include Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Jimmie Vaughan, ZZ Top, John Mayer, Steve Winwood, and the Allman Brothers Band. “The Crossroads Festival is the realization of a dream for me,” said Clapton. “To gather a group of amazingly talented musicians to perform on one stage, the Crossroads performers are all musicians I admire and respect.”

Crossroads isn’t the only event marked on Clapton’s calendar, as he is set to headline a handful of venues this spring. He is scheduled to play Madison Square Garden with Jeff Beck on February 18th and 19th. He is also looking to pair with Roger Daltrey for a show on March 2nd at the BOK Center in Tulsa.
