Spoon to Launch U.S. Tour

Austin, TX indie rock band Spoon will begin their 2010 North American tour in their hometown on Wednesday, March 17th before they take center stage at the Republic in New Orleans, LA the following day. New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and Boston’s House of Blues will welcome the veteran rockers for shows on Friday, March 26th and Saturday, March 27th.

The group is comprised of members Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, Rob Pope and Eric Harvey. Daniel and Eno were first introduced in 1993 as a part of The Alien Beats. Spoon then formed together in 1994, releasing their first studio album Telephono in ’96.

Over the course of their 16-year existence, Spoon has recorded a total of seven albums. Their latest project Transference was released in January of 2010, selling 53,000 copies its first week in stores. Find the best deals for Spoon concert tickets
