English songwriter-musician Peter Gabriel reserved to play the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA for two nights May 7th and 8th. The former Genesis front man is also scheduled for shows in New York City (May 2nd-3rd), London, Berlin, Paris and Montreal. He is touring internationally to further promote his latest studio album “Scratch My Back,” which is set for release on Monday, February 15th.
The concept of the new project is for Gabriel to cover some of his favorite artists in a different style, replacing typical rock instruments with a 54-piece orchestra. Featured singles from “Scratch My Back” are David Bowie’s “Heroes,” Randy Newman’s “I Think It’s Going to Rain Today” and Radiohead’s “Street Spirit.” Other artists include Paul Simon, Elbow, Bon Iver, Talking Heads, Lou Reed, Arcade Fire, Regina Spektor and Neil Young. Don’t miss your chance to see Peter Gabriel live at Radio City Music Hall or at the Hollywood Bowl.
