The Boston Celtics had five players contribute at least 10 points and never surrendered a lead in yesterday’s dominant 100-64 victory over the Toronto Raptors at TD Garden. Paul Pierce led the way with 17 points and eight assists. The 14-year veteran needs just 60 points to tie Larry Bird for second in all-time scoring for the Celtics with 21,791 points.
Brandon Bass and Ray Allen netted 12 points apiece for the C’s. Averey Bradley and JaJuan Johnson chipped in with 11. “It was great,” Celtics head coach Doc Rivers said. “Every guy came in and they did the same thing.”
Boston has now won their last 6-of-7 to get over the .500 mark for the second time this season. They will next host the New York Knicks Friday night before welcoming in the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. View all available Boston Celtics tickets here at Ace!
