Recap – Only the Detroit Red Wings have scored more goals in the Western Conference then the Dallas Stars. 16 players on the roster are in double-digit point totals and the team has 7 players with 10 or more goals led by 2008 NHL All Star center Mike Ribeiro. Riberio has put away 22 goals, notched 32 assist in his 49 games on the ice thus far in the season. He is known for his speed on the ice and ability to finish the puck during crunch time. Starting goaltender, Marty Turco, has won 19 games in net and hopes to propel his team to the Division title.
2nd Half – The Stars have the luxury of playing more a weaker 2nd half schedule then other teams in the Pacific Division. This alone should help them create a little space for the top spot but look for strong play to continue right into the playoffs. They will be a serious contender for the Stanley Cup Finals.
