The New York Giants defied the odds once again, when they won their 3rd straight road playoff game. The Giants defeated the Packers 23-20 in overtime to advance to Super Bowl XLII against the New England Patriots on February 3rd in Glendale, AZ. The Giants played the Patriots on the last game of the regular season, giving undefeated New England quite a bit of trouble. The Giants would go on to lose the game but their hard play gave them much needed confidence heading into the playoffs.
