The last five minutes of last night’s Bruins/Blues matchup had more action than more entire games do. Down by a goal, the Bruins rallied to score three goals in under two minutes, giving the B’s a two-goal lead with barely three minutes to go. St Louis would get points on a DavidĀ Perron power play goal, and a game tying shot by DavidĀ Backe. After a scoreless overtime period, the Blues shut out the B’s in the shootout to take the overtime win.
Even with the loss, the Bruins are tied with the San Jose Sharks for NHL best point standings at 71.
